To play Dark Dungeon, you will need at least the Dark Dungeon 2nd Edition Freeware Lite Version, better known as the Lite Rules. The character? sheets (we have both female and male versions) make it easier to keep track of your character - though we know some people who just use any piece of blank paper they happen upon. Finally, you can find a description of the island of Samaris, with emphasis on its major city Southport?, in Samaris, Island of Adventure, A Game Supplement for Dark Dungeon 2nd Edition. Of course, you can use the Dark Dungeon game system in any game world you can think of, but Yaddrin? is the world we play in, and Samaris is one of the major places there.

Except for a die (10-sided), and a couple of friends, this is all you need to start playing!
